The Journey:

For months, I tried to ignore the nausea. A glass of wine, a spicy meal, and there it was - that queasy, sinking, wavey feeling I had been hoping was nothing serious. But during a trip to Tampa to visit my dad, everything caught up with me. I ended up in the ER twice in two days, with no answers and no way to hide from it anymore. Too sick to stay, I flew back to London, gripping the seat with every passing hour. A few days later, in a quiet Oxford hospital room, a doctor said three letters I had never heard before: CHS.

My Experience:

Those early days were held together by scalding showers, intense stomach pain, and cyclical vomiting. At the time, there was almost no information online about CHS so I set out to create resources for others suffering through the same thing.

Why I Built This:

Hi, I’m Kaitlin. I’m not a doctor - just someone who’s been through CHS twice. CHS Relief Hub isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about comfort, education, and empowerment. Everything I create here is built with that intention.

With care,

Kaitlin

Founder Story

Supporting your journey back to normalcy

CHS Relief Hub was founded by someone who’s lived through the overwhelming fear, nausea, and confusion of repeated CHS flares with no answers. After two flares lasting over ten days cycling through hospitals and hot showers, our founder set out to build the resource she wished had existed. One that brings comfort and clarity to people experiencing CHS.
